I ambitiously titled this website "The Daily Lalee" as a challenge to myself to actually post some material every single day, except when I'm traveling, sick, mopey, lazy, busy, or not feelin' it. Which may very well result in more of a "Weekly Lalee," but hey, aim high.
For my first post, I'd like to tell you a little about what you can expect to find here in the future. This blog, like most blogs, is an exercise in self-indulgence, and you'll see posts about what interests me, delights me, frustrates me, etc. I'm your average female yupster living in Los Angeles, and my passions include fashion, food, movies, California history and culture, etiquette, and entertaining. The causes closest to my heart are the ones that impact my friends, including gay rights, women's safety, and a living wage for doctors and lawyers. Just kidding about that last one.
I eat meat, wear fur, participate in gay rights marches, don't believe in god, and prefer Los Angeles to New York. There's a little something for everyone to hate. But I hope as time goes on that you'll also find a little something to love. There'll be interesting websites, good tips about what's happening in Los Angeles, tried and true recipes, entertaining rants and raves, and occasionally you might even learn something useful.
